VU Athletics Names Athletic Solutions as Official NIL Partner

VINCENNES, Ind. – Vincennes University Athletics has announced a new partnership with Athletic Solutions, establishing the company as the Official NIL Partner of VU Athletics and providing Trailblazer student-athletes with expanded opportunities to benefit from their name, image and likeness.

As part of the partnership, Athletic Solutions has launched the VU NIL Locker Room, a new online shopping platform featuring officially licensed VU merchandise and individual storefronts for participating Trailblazer student-athletes. Through their personalized collections, student-athletes can build their individual brands while receiving a share of the revenue generated through merchandise sales.

The platform also provides a new avenue for fans, alumni and supporters to purchase VU Athletics merchandise, including Adidas-branded apparel connected to the Trailblazers' athletic programs.

VU Director of Athletics John Meeks said the partnership represents another step in the department's commitment to providing its student-athletes meaningful opportunities in the rapidly evolving NIL landscape. "Name, image and likeness has become an important part of the collegiate athletics experience, and we want to continue finding ways for our student-athletes to benefit from the VU brand and from the work they put into representing VU," Meeks said. "Our goal is to provide our student-athletes with NIL opportunities that reflect the experience they can expect at the four-year level while also helping them understand the value of building and representing their own personal brands."

For VU Athletics, the ability to connect those NIL opportunities with the department's Adidas partnership was a significant factor in the move to Athletic Solutions. "As an Adidas department, that alignment is a really important piece for us," Meeks said. " We've wanted to provide that opportunity for some time, both from a branding standpoint and to give our fans greater access to the same Adidas-branded gear associated with our programs."

Trailblazer fans can visit the VU NIL Locker Room to shop officially licensed VU Athletics merchandise, find their favorite participating student-athletes and directly support Trailblazers through NIL merchandise purchases. As student-athletes join the platform, links to their individual NIL stores will also be added to their roster profiles on the VU Athletics website, providing fans with another direct way to shop and support their favorite Trailblazers.
